Dr Tanya Gershenzon has been working at Lucas Dental Care (Glen Iris) for over 25 years. Tanya is a family dentist, who loves nurturing long term relationships with her patients young and old and loves creating not only a healthy and beautiful smile but a more relaxed attitude towards dentistry even in very anxious patients. Tanya is a caring practitioner who takes time to find a tailored approach for each individual case.
It has been a beautiful journey to see her patients grow up and bring families of their own for their dental needs. Tanya enjoys all aspects of dentistry from general family dentistry to endodontics, implants and aesthetic dentistry. Tanya works closely with orthodontists and oral surgeons to create the best outcomes for her patients. She continues to advance her interest in aesthetics into occasional use of facial Injectables to include facial aesthetics to enhance dental aesthetics.
Tanya loves travel and skiing, spending time with her growing children, helping her husband in property development and lately rediscovering her artistic side through painting.
Dr Rachel Sim completed her Master of Dentistry degree in 2012 and began her practicing career in regional Victoria where she gained valuable experience in all aspects of dentistry. Rachel joined the Lucas Dental Care team (Glen Iris) in 2015 and is known for her friendly, gentle and professional manner. She is thorough, carefully detailed and passionate about helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes for their oral health needs.
Rachel is also active in volunteer projects and has set up and provided dental treatment to communities in Kenya, Philippines and Vanuatu. Rachel is committed to providing exceptional dental treatment, working with her patients to create healthy and beautiful smiles.
Hillary is a caring and gentle Oral Health Therapist / Hygienist and is amazing with young children and adults who are anxious. She is your go to person for dental hygiene, prevention and thorough scale and cleans.
Hillary graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Melbourne in 2013 and went on to complete her Honours in special needs and community dental health. She is now a clinical educator and lecturer for the Oral Health Therapy students at Charles Sturt University, and has previously been part of mentoring at University of Melbourne.
Hillary has been at Lucas Dental Care for 12 years and couldn’t be happier working in such a rewarding profession. She loves all aspects of dentistry, but truly has a passion for children’s dentistry. She is a multi-skilled member of the Lucas Dental Care team and has done further studies to obtain her Graduate Certificate in Oral Health Therapy for our adult clients. This means Hillary is able to provide comprehensive treatment to all age groups and refer for more complex dental work if needed. Her focus has always been prevention, and so she endeavours to keep you and/or your child on a preventative dental routine.
