Specialist Paediatric Dentistry

Our specialist paediatric dentists help your child learn about their teeth in a safe environment. Healthy young teeth means setting children up for healthy teeth for life.

We offer treatment under nitrous oxide sedation (otherwise known as happy gas) and treatment under general anesthetics that are safe for both children and infants.

Our specialists are experts in the field of children’s dentistry. We offer a wide range of services including but not limited to:

Children and Adults Living with Special Needs

Lucas Dental Care has a great deal of experience and empathy treating children and adults with special needs and disabilities. Sometimes we just need people who can think outside the box!

Please note: Glen Iris is the only practice that services adult patients

Departure of Dr Nikki Liew

Dr Nikki Liew, Specialist in Special Needs Dentistry, will no longer practise at Lucas Dental Care, 1392 Malvern Road, Glen Iris. From 1 September 2026 her consulting rooms will be at 17 Windsor Avenue, Springvale, and 197 Southern Road, Heidelberg West.

 

So that the care of her patients continues without interruption, Lucas Dental Care intends to transfer the health records of patients she has treated at this practice to Dr Liew’s new practice. The records to be transferred include all relevant clinical records and correspondence. Lucas Dental Care will retain a copy of all records it transfers.

 

If you do not wish your records to be transferred to Dr Liew’s new practice, or if you would prefer them to be given to you or transferred to another dental practice of your choosing, please inform us by 10th of October 2026 by email to reception@lucasdentalcare.com.au, by telephone on (03) 9824 7614, or by post to 1392 Malvern Road, Glen Iris VIC 3146. If we do not receive said notification from you by that date, your records will then be transferred to Dr Liew’s new practice.
